Xanthan Gum

Xanthan gum is a polysaccharide It can be produced from simple sugars using a fermentation process, it is an effective thickening agent and stabilizer to prevent ingredients from separating. In foods, xanthan gum is commonly used in prossed food like salad dressings and sauces, meat and poultry products, bakery products, confectionery products, beverages, dairy products and others. In cosmetics, xanthan gum is used to prepare water gels. Toothpaste often contains xanthan gum as a binder.
